Our Complete Orthopedic Services Include:
Hip Replacement Surgery:
Purpose: Hip replacement surgery is performed when the hip joint is damaged due to conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or fractures. It aims to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and improve the patient’s quality of life.
Procedure:There are two main types of hip replacement: total hip replacement (THR) and partial hip replacement (hemiarthroplasty). THR involves replacing both the ball and socket of the hip joint, while hemiarthroplasty replaces only the ball portion.
Implants: The artificial hip joint components are typically made of materials like metal, plastic, or ceramic. Surgeons choose the materials based on the patient’s age, activity level, and specific needs.
Recovery:After surgery, patients undergo physical therapy to regain strength and mobility. Most patients experience reduced pain and improved hip function.
Custom Knee Replacement:
Purpose: Custom knee replacement is a personalized approach to knee arthroplasty. It is suitable for patients with severe knee pain or joint damage that hasn’t responded to conservative treatments.
Procedure: Before surgery, the patient’s knee anatomy is assessed through advanced imaging and computer modeling. This information is used to create a custom-designed knee implant that fits the patient’s unique anatomy more precisely.
Benefits: Custom knee replacements can lead to improved alignment, stability, and reduced pain compared to standard knee replacements.
Recovery: Recovery involves physical therapy to regain knee strength and range of motion. Patients typically experience less pain and better knee function.
Hip Avascular Necrosis:
Definition: Avascular necrosis of the hip occurs when the blood supply to the hip bone (femoral head) is disrupted, leading to bone tissue death.
Causes: This condition can result from factors like trauma, prolonged corticosteroid use, excessive alcohol consumption, or certain medical conditions.
Treatment: Treatment options include medications to manage pain and underlying conditions. In advanced cases, surgical interventions like core decompression, bone grafting, or hip replacement may be necessary.
Cervical Myelopathy – Posterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion:
Purpose: This procedure treats cervical myelopathy, a condition characterized by spinal cord compression in the neck. It aims to relieve pressure on the spinal cord.
Procedure: The surgeon accesses the spine from the back (posterior approach), removes any bone or tissue pressing on the spinal cord, and fuses adjacent vertebrae to stabilize the spine.
Recovery: Patients may need physical therapy to regain strength and mobility. The procedure can alleviate symptoms like numbness, weakness, and difficulty walking.
Degenerative Lumbar Spine – Fusion Surgeries – TLIF (Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion):
Purpose: TLIF addresses degenerative conditions of the lumbar spine, such as disc degeneration, herniation, or spondylolisthesis.
Procedure: During TLIF, the surgeon removes the problematic disc, places bone graft material into the empty disc space, and inserts hardware like screws and rods to fuse adjacent vertebrae.
Benefits: TLIF provides spinal stability, reduces pain, and can improve overall function.
Degenerative Cervical Spine – ACDF (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion):
Purpose: ACDF is used to treat cervical spine conditions like herniated discs or spinal cord compression in the neck.
Procedure: The surgeon accesses the cervical spine from the front (anterior approach), removes the damaged disc, and fuses adjacent vertebrae with a bone graft to relieve pressure on the spinal cord.
Recovery: This procedure can alleviate symptoms like neck pain, arm pain, and numbness.
Lumbar Canal Stenosis and Degenerative Adult Scoliosis – Lumbar Fusion:
Purpose: Lumbar fusion is recommended for conditions like lumbar canal stenosis or adult scoliosis to stabilize the spine.
Procedure: During lumbar fusion, two or more vertebrae are fused together using bone grafts and hardware to reduce pain and improve spinal alignment.
Benefits: Lumbar fusion can provide relief from pain, weakness, and other symptoms associated with these conditions.
Purpose: Lumbar discectomy is performed to address herniated or damaged discs in the lumbar spine.
Procedure: The surgeon removes the portion of the disc pressing on nearby nerves, relieving pain and discomfort.
Recovery: Patients typically experience reduced leg pain and improved mobility following this procedure.

Centereach is a hamlet and census-designated place located in Suffolk County, New York, United States. It is situated on Long Island and has a population of 31,578 according to the 2010 census The hamlet was originally called West Middle Island but was renamed to Centereach in 1916 due to the discovery of another village with the same name.
The name Centereach reflects the centrality of the hamlet’s location on Long Island, literally meaning “center reached” Over the years, Centereach has grown from a small hamlet to a primarily suburban community. The area had grown to nearly 20,000 residents by 1970 1. The population density was 3,473.87/sq mi (1,341.34/km²) as of 2020

Shortly after WWII, the Ulrich family developed Cedarwood Park on the north side of Middle Country Road in the vicinity of Elliot Avenue, Lake Grove. Roads were put in and building lots surveyed and improved. The lots sold for $250 each with a down payment of just $10.
The rural landscape of Centereach began to change dramatically in the middle of the 20th century when the Kaplan firm began to build low-priced homes in a development named Dawn Estates. Homes in this development sold for $7,000
While the Kaplan brothers were among the first developers, the Krinsky Organization followed them with an even larger project. Fifteen hundred homes were to be built on a 400-acre site, but there were concerns about this project from the start. Doubters cited its remote location and the difficulty of obtaining necessary public utilities in what was considered an isolated area.
These worries were soon overcome when the Krinsky Organization created its own water company with the capacity to serve 10,000 families. In addition, the Long Island Lighting Company agreed to extend its gas lines more than six miles beyond the existing distribution limit, bringing in electricity to serve the new homes
On September 6th, 1953, The New York Times real estate section featured a picture of the new Eastwood Village exhibit home with its raised-hearth fireplace and its combination living-dining-kitchen area. While the first year’s sales were slow, within five years 1,250 homes had been sold.
The prices for these homes ranged from $9,990 to $13,500 . In 1954, Eastwood Village became a multiple builder venture as other builders erected models on already improved building sites. By 1958, 2,500 homes had been sold in the development
