Fellowship-trained in hip and knee reconstruction, he specializes in total hip and knee replacements for arthritis and is certified in robotics-assisted joint replacement. He also treats meniscal tears, cartilage injuries, fractures, and can manage most orthopedic issues involving the lower extremities.
As a fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Athar brings deep experience to procedures including ankle replacement, minimally invasive foot surgery, and cartilage repair.
