He is Board Certified in Medicine and Surgery since sitting for and passing the certification Examination given by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 1982.

His primary interests professionally are Joint Replacement Surgery, Trauma/Fractures, and Sport Medicine. He is a Veteran and was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Air Force, and he is also fluent in Spanish.

Steven also works in Emergency Department at Good Samaritan Hospital, and lives with his family in Greenport.

He then went to Farmingdale State University of New York to study health services,  and received a B.S from Touro College in  Allied Health Science & as a Physician Assistant.

With over 20 years of practice experience, he is a valuable member of our team.

Graduated from Louis D. Brandeis HS in 1988. Worked at NYU medical center from June 1990 to May 2010 as a front desk receptionist answering phones,  billing (input & output), ekg’s, making appointments, prior authorizations, etc.

Currently works at ACUMA medical associates from June 2010-present for five physicians doing the same duties as at NYU.
